Justice AC Adityan

Justice Arumuga Perumal Adityan was born on 17th April 1947. After completion of Law Degree, he got enrolled as an Advocate in the Bar Council of Tamilnadu on 09.09.1970. After a short stint at the Bar, he was appointed as a District Munsif in 1976 and promoted as District Judge in 1995. Besides serving in various districts, he also officiated as Administrator General and Official Trustee (AG& OT), Registrar (Vigilance) and Registrar General, High Court of Madras. He was appointed as Hon’ble Judge of Madras High Court on 10.12.2005 and retired on 16.04.2009.
He was appointed as the First Judicial Member of the AFT, Regional Bench Chennai on 22.06.2009 and demitted office on 16.04.2012.
Lt Gen S Pattabhiraman, PVSM, AVSM, SM, VSM

An alumnus of Madrasi Hr Sec School, Lt Gen S Pattabhiraman joined NDA in 1963 and was commissioned into 102 ENGR REGT (BEG) on 25 Dec 1966.
His Command Assignments include CO 102 Engineer Regiment, Commander 33 Infantry Brigade, GOC 54 Infantry Division, GOC 11 Corps and GOC-in-C Western Command. Important Staff and Instructional Appointments held by him include Brigade Major 70 Infantry Brigade, Instructor SC Wing, College of Combat, Director Faculty of Studies, College of Combat, Instructor Cl(B) IMA and ADGMO(B) and DG Info Systems. He was appointed as Vice Chief of the Army Staff on 01 Oct 2005 and retired from the Army on 31 Dec 2006.
The General was appointed as the First Administrative Member of AFT Regional Bench Chennai on 22 Jun 2009 and retired from AFT on 09 Dec 2011.
Justice V Periya Karuppiah

Justice V. Periya Karuppiah was born on 5th October 1950. He completed his Law Degree from the Madras Law College in 1974. He got enrolled as an Advocate on 28.08.1974. He was directly appointed as Subordinate Judge at Villupuram on 15.02.1989, later promoted as District Judge on 02.06.1997 and posted as Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (E.O.l),Chennai. He also served as District Judge in Cuddalore, Chengalpattu and Chennai Districts and Registrar (Vigilance) of Madras High Court. He served as Principal Judge in the City Civil Court, Chennai. He was appointed as Hon’ble Judge of Madras High Court on 05.11.2009 and retired on 04.10.2012.
He was appointed as Judicial Member of the AFT, Regional Bench Chennai on 05.10.2012 and demitted office on 04.10.2015.
Lt Gen S Anand Mohan Verma, PVSM, AVSM, SM, VSM

An alumnus of Patna High School, Lt Gen Anand Mohan Verma was Commissioned from IMA into 2 RAJPUT (Kali Chindi) on 31 Mar 1972.
His Command Assignments include CO 27 RAJPUT, Brigade Commander Rashtriya Rifles, GOC Bengal Area and GOC 12 Corps. Important Staff and Instructional appointments held by him include GSO-1 Perspective Planning at Army HQs, Colonel GS 15 Infantry Division, Brigadier IC (Admin) 12 Corps, Deputy Military Secretary at HQ Central Command, Directing Staff at DSSC Wellington and Deputy Commandant & Chief Instructor, Infantry School Mhow. He was appointed as DGMO in May 2010 and retired from the Army in Dec 2011.
The General was appointed as Administrative Member of AFT and posted to Regional Bench Chennai from Aug 2012 to Jan 2014 and subsequently assigned to Regional Bench Lucknow from Jan 2014 to Aug 2016.
Lt Gen K Surendra Nath, PVSM, AVSM, VSM

An alumnus of Sainik School, Korukonda, Lt Gen K Surendra Nath joined NDA in Jun 1969 and was Commissioned into 1 MADRAS (1MECH INF) in Jan 1973.
His Command Assignments include CO 1 MECH INF (1 MADRAS), Commander 5 Mountain Brigade, GOC 18 Infantry Div (RAPID) and GOC 10 Corps. Important Staff and Instructional Appointments held by him include Brigade Major 12 Infantry Brigade, GSO-1 MO Directorate, Staff Officer UN HQ, Col GS 16 Infantry Div, BGS 21 Corps and ADGMF Army HQ, Instructor IMA Dehradun and Directing Staff at DSSC Wellington. He was appointed as GOC-in-C ARTRAC in Dec 2010 and retired from the Army on 01 Jun 2013.
The General was appointed as Administrative Member of the AFT and posted to Regional Bench Lucknow from Dec 2013 to Jan 2014 and subsequently assigned to Regional Bench, Chennai from Jan 2014 to Dec 2017.
Justice VS Ravi

Justice VS Ravi was born on 20th May 1954. He completed his Law Degree from Madras Law College in 1977. He served as Additional/ District Munsif of Tirupattur, Krishnagiri, Bhavani and Madurai Districts, Addl Sub Judge at Madurai, Judicial Officer at Corporation of Coimbatore and Sub Judge at Namakkal. He served as District Judge at Krishnagiri, Thanjavur, Pudukkottai and Vellore Districts. He served as Registrar, State Human Rights Commission, Chennai, Presiding Officer, DRT-I Chennai, DRT-1 Delhi and Registrar (Vigilance), High Court of Madras. He was appointed as Hon’ble Judge of Madras High Court on 25.10.2013 and retired on 19.05.2016
He was appointed as Judicial Member of the AFT Regional Bench Mumbai from 06.12.2017 to 10.06.2018, transferred to Regional Bench Chennai on 11.06.2018 and demitted office on 19.05.2019.
Lt Gen CA Krishnan, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM

An alumnus of Sainik School, Kazhakootam, Lt Gen CA Krishnan joined NDA in Jun 1972 and was commissioned in 3/4 GORKHA RIFLES on 13 Jun 1976.
His Command Assignments include CO 3/4 GR, Commander 19 Infantry Brigade, Inspector General of Assam Rifles (South) and GOC 4 Corps. Important Staff and Instructional Appointments held by him include Instructor IMA, Brigade Major, AMS (MS Branch) Army HQ, GSO 1(Ops) 8 Mountain Div, Directing Staff, Col GS, Senior Instructor, and BGS at DSSC Wellington and also DG MP & PS at Army HQ. He was appointed as Deputy Chief of Army Staff in Mar 2014 and retired from the Army on 31 Oct 2015.
The General was appointed as Administrative Member of the AFT and posted to Regional Bench, Guwahati from Jul 2017 to Dec 2017 and subsequently assigned to Regional Bench, Chennai from Jan 2018 to Dec 2020.

An alumnus of SD Model School Jalandhar, Lt Gen Bobby Mathews joined NDA in Jan 1975 and was commissioned into 2 KUMAON (BERAR) on 16 Dec 1978.
His Command Assignments include CO 2 KUMAON (BERAR), Commander 64 Mtn Bde, Sub Area Commander Mumbai during the Terror Attack in Nov 2008, GOC 27 Mtn Div and GOC 12 Corps. Important Staff Appointments held by him include Brigade Major 202 Mtn Bde, Col GS 12 Inf Div, DDGPS and ADGPI
(Media Advisor to COAS) at Army HQ. His Instructional Appointments include Instructor at IMA, Infantry School and DS at DSSC Wellington and Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor of IMA. The General was appointed as Colonel of Kumaon & Naga Regiments & Kumaon Scouts from May 2015 to Feb 2017. He was posted as Commandant OTA, Chennai in Oct 2015 and retired from the Army on 28 Feb 2017.
The General was appointed as Administrative Member of the AFT and posted to Regional Bench Jaipur from Sep 2020 to Jan 2021 and subsequently assigned to Regional Bench, Chennai in Jan 2021.
